We got Sonic the other day - Ignore my unhealthy eating habits for my child - and Andrew loves french fries but always eats them plain. He was watching James and I put ketchup on our fries and decided to follow along and try it. As you can see he liked it better. Not sure if the fry was quite as good by the time he finished lol.

Turning Circles
Random Video...Andrew does this turning circles thing on the floor. Not sure what started it or where he learned it but it made us laugh.

First Hair Cut
I finally had to cave and cut Andrew's hair. He had a mullet-esque hairdo going on and it was starting to look a bit crazy but I loved his little curls so I was having a hard time cutting it.
Pre-haircut
He refused to sit still of course so it came out a bit crooked but I figure no one is looking to closely at his hair and it will grow back fast anyways.
He looks so grown up now. :-(

The Children's Museum
For President's Day weekend Grandma and Grandpa Fleischman came to town and Andrew got spoiled rotten of course. He went to the park 3 times in one day with Grandma. Talk about heaven!
We also went to the Austin Children's Museum with them and although a lot of the stuff is a bit more grown up than Andrew he had fun watching all of the big kids and trying to do some of it on his own.
One of the exhibits is about different types of construction - house construction and then the type that requires big machinery on wheels. You can see what Andrew loved.
Daddy was helping at first.
Then he just climbed right in and started playing on his own.

There was a little section for the younger kids with a little frog pond and a little maze of golf balls which Andrew liked to throw, and a vacuum that blew air on his face, and a little slide.
There was this little toy that if you pulled the lever side to side it would move the frogs up and down and made noise. He really liked this little noicemaker.

Then we went to the fish tank. I think he could have stayed there all day. He loved watching the fish swim around and kept trying to bang on the tank. I tried to tell him the word fish and get SHuHHSH so I guess that was close enough.

And they had a little dairy farm station that showed how the milk got from the cow to the store and it has a little grocery store that you can stock the shelves on and sell stuff to the restaurant too. I'm sure that will be more entertaining when he gets older but this time he was just pretty interested in the big cow.

And riding the cow was lots of fun too.
The train that made all sorts of noise when he pushed buttons was a huge hit too. He makes the choo-choo sound pretty regularly now when he has his train at home.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Fleischman for the fun weekend!

Feeding Myself Mom!
I am trying to let Andrew feed himself more so that he can learn how to do it and give me a break. :-) We are making some progress but slowly. He does manage to make a huge mess with very little to no practice at all lol.
He has the idea that the spoon somehow gets the food into his mouth but note the angle and you can imagine why the majority of it is already on his whole face and head.
Oops! Did you take a picture of that?
Wonder if I can get this granola bar in my mouth or if the dogs will get the majority of this yummy treat....
Kind of embarrassed that I'm covered in this applesauce.
But oh what a fun time we had!

Look Mom I Can Climb!
My little monkey always manages to climb on everything but it has always been incremental until he figured out the coffee table and the couch. Here are some cute pics of him climbing on the coffee table and showing off. Just pretend he has pants on and hasn't ditched them in the corner lol.
The progression of getting on the table.
Working up his smile for the camera.
What a ham! He loves to get right up in the camera lens and make these goofy faces. And it makes me laugh every time. I love this cute little man!

Playground Discovery
Now that Andrew is getting a little bigger I am trying to make sure he gets lots of exercise to burn off all of that crazy ENERGY that he has. And luckily our neighborhood has a great park with lots of slides which Andrew can't get enough of. He still won't walk but he will crawl all over this park, up the stairs and down the slides. He even goes up big playscape and has no fear of the big kids slides. He turns around and slides down on his tummy and giggles and laughs the whole way down.

This is one of my favorite thing to do with him because he is so darn cute and happy. And he sleeps great when we get home which is a big time mommy bonus. :-)
