Visiting Aunt Becky..

And Uncle Kent, and Amy, KC, Loretta, Colt and Chandler. I haven't gotten to spend time with them in forever. I think the last time I had seen Amy and Loretta was at Uncle Kay's funeral 6 years ago and Uncle Kent and Aunt Becky was probably 4 years ago. So when I found out they were going to be in New Braunfels hanging out I couldn't pass up the opportunity to invite myself and family along. I used to spend all of my summers with these crazy folks and definitely miss them. I only wish Kara, Melinda, Teresa and Leslie could have been there with their families too.

It was a quick trip but we drove down Saturday afternoon and spent most of Sunday in New Braunfels at the Wyndham Suites. Such a nice place to stay. We had a full kitchen and plenty of room for all of us.

Saturday night we all went out to eat and this great little restaraunt in Gruene right off of the river....Or what is left of the river anyways. It was a late night but Andrew was a total trooper and had a great time!

Sunday we hung out at the pool, grilled and just took it easy. So glad we got to go join in the fun and catch up!

Dance, Dance

So Andrew is a car lover as we all know. He loves actual cars, Cars the movie and just saying cars all the time. Well we were watching Cars for the 789th time the other day and it gets to the scene (if you have seen it you know what I mean, if not...well it is a funny video anyways) where Mac is falling asleep driving and the Japanese modded cars are driving behind him playing rap music. Out of the corner of my eye, I see him start dancing so of course I was not prepared but rewound to that scene again and this is what I caught. He has quite the moves. :-)

Don't you love how cute he is?

Deutschen Pfest - May 2011

I realized that this post was neglected so I wanted to make sure it got on here. We took Andrew to Deutschen Pfest this year and he enjoyed it way more than last year. They had a little petting zoo that he thought was great. He watches a Baby Einstein video about Old McDonalds farm so he has picked up on quite a few of the animals. Although to hear him talk about it the only 2 you would think he knows are cow and puppy.

The cutest little pigs....I totally want one!

Apparently the little man agrees.

He wasn't quite sure what to make of this guy that kept looking at him.

He did say quack quack a couple of times but unfortunately it wasn't directed at these little cuties.

And we finally did see the cows so that he could see the animal he kept talking about.

Further Proof This Kid is a Fleischman....

And a monkey.

And occasionally I can even get him to sleep in the car.....unfortunately it usually only lasts 15 minutes.

Trouble Again

I walked out of my bathroom for a total of about 2 minutes the other day and came back to find this...

He had found the shaving cream daddy used earlier that day and decided to have a grand old time playing in it.

Some days his cuteness is what keeps me from going crazy!

The Great Outdoors

Thanks to Andrew's boundless amounts of energy we spend a lot of time outside. I got him some new fun bubbles to play with out there and he will chase them for a few minutes until getting bored and going somewhere else to find trouble. I got some cute pics of him in action though.

I love his look of determination here. There is no sort of distraction when he gets a thought in his little head. I'm sure it will serve him well later in life but boy is it hard to keep him out of trouble!

The hose is quite the fascinating thing. Mainly I think he is trying to recreate Mom turning it on his face one day lol and he can't quite get it yet.

GOOOOAAAL!!
